Pesedjet Update
Why I'll be taking a short break from publishing here on Substack
Dear Pesedjeters,
I hope you are well.
I’m writing to update you on what my writing schedule will look like over the coming months. You may have noticed that I haven’t posted for a while and I would like to explain why.
As you know, I’ve been researching Ancient Egyptian philosophy and Enneagram origins for several years now - and writing about it here on Substack - with the long-term aim of publishing a book. Well, the time is now.
The coming months will be spent on completing the manuscript for my book because I recognise that although I’ve loved writing these Substack articles, they take a big commitment of mental focus and energy. Not only do I love writing Pesedjet: The Wisdom of Nine here on Substack, but publishing the articles is hugely beneficial for my writing. However, while I hoped that I could manage both, as a uni-tasker of note I found that writing Pesedjet articles was slowing down progress on the manuscript. So it is for this reason that I’ll be pausing on here for a while, with the intention to have the manuscript completed by the end of this year.
The exciting news is that the book is taking final shape, and at its heart is a new theory on where the Enneagram actually came from and what it really means beyond Gurdjieff’s teachings. It’s too early to say more, but stick around because you’ll be the first to hear more about it here on Pesedjet: The Wisdom of Nine. As soon as the book manuscript has been completed I’ll resume writing and sharing related content here on Pesedjet once again.
I won’t disappear completely, and I’ll post the occasional short note to let you know how the book is progressing. If you’re on a paid subscription, I’ll be pausing those so you’re not paying during the quiet period.
Thank you for your support and interest in Pesedjet, and thank you for your patience over the next few months.
Wishing you Life, prosperity and health!
Robert
